Fisker Karma spotted in Upper Swabia (Ravensburg)

Hey Guys
Some Cars may exist, but are rarer than a snowman in the desert, just like the Californian Electric Car Karma by Fisker Automotive.

Felix (Music-Blogger at activemusic-blog.de) spotted this indeed beautiful Karma in Ravensburg, upper swabia, this week. What a find and thanks for sending me them!

You have to know that it's the first private owned (?) Karma I've eeever seen on a public road. Although I've already seen one during the Auto Bild Bodensee electric Rally, but it wasn't a private one ... so YES, I'm happy so see this ~72,000 € ($96,000) Baby in the Public, electrifying more and more people!

iXoost Exhaust-iPod-Sound-System

Hey Guys
Christmas might be (finally?!) over now, but for a present like the iXoost Exhaust-iPod-Sound-System it's all over the year the right time.

iXoost is the first audio system for iPhone/iPod entirely hand-built in Modena by local craftsmen, designed by Matteo Panini (Son of THE Panini Creator. Check out more details about the Museum here..) and Mirco Pecorari.

Every iXoost base out of a solid block of aluminium, with parts such as the exhaust manifold turned and milled using five-axis machines, making this object unique also in terms of the way it’s put together.

The name iXoost comes from the English pronunciation of the word “exhaust”, the first dock station dreamed up by Matteo Panini and designed by Mirco Pecorari. Mechanics and sound come together thanks to the tradition evoked by the world of engines.

The docks are colourful, finished with high-quality leather coupled with the exhaust manifolds to create fantastic combinations which are a pleasure for the heart as …

Looking the Part — Luxury Car Use in the US and UAE

Sponsored People buy luxury cars for several reasons. Some do because they have the money for the finer things in life. Some do because they love cars and spend more money on them than their house.
Some do because they want to look the part.

In terms of the popularity of luxury cars in the US, there’s been a titanic struggle this year between Audi, Mercedes, BMW and Lexus. In the summer, BMW were out in front, but then Audi and Mercedes hit back. The Audi A6 is the number one luxury car in the US.

One country where you will see luxury cars on the road is the UAE. The UAE has a high standard of living, the lower price of cars makes it easier to find car insurance, and there is a large expat population. It all creates quite a demand.

What cars will you see there?

People want to look the part in the UAE. Porsches, Chevrolets Camaros, Ford Mustangs, Dodge Chargers, Subaru Imprezas and Bentley Continental GTs are just some of the luxury and sports cars you’ll see on the UAE’s streets. You’l…

BMW 6-series Gran Coupé fom HAMANN-Motorsport

Hey Guys

HAMANN Motorsport, the south German Car automobile Tuner, just released Pictures of their new modificated BMW 6-series Gran Coupé.

Even the standard BMW 6-series Gran Coupé is amongst the most elegant luxury cars. Noble lines and bewitching proportions make the Coupé known at BMW as the F06 one of most attractive cars ever to roll off the production lines at BMW. So it was no mean feat for the designers at HAMANN-Motorsport to give the vehicle more glamour, and just the right amount of sportiness and individuality. But with their feel for shape and more than 25 years of experience in customising luxury cars, the specialists from the southern German town of Laupheim have managed to pull together a comprehensive customisation package – striking alloy wheels, a stylish aerodynamic profile as well as a gnarly sounding sports exhaust are just a few highlights from the extensive HAMANN range.

The aerodynamic components alone show HAMANNs feel for clever customisation of the Gran C…

Celebrating 110 Years at the Ford Motor Company

Sponsored With a successful 2012 already behind them, 2013 looks set to also be a year of note for the Ford Motor Company. Not only is it the company’s 110th anniversary, it is also the 150th anniversary of their great founder’s birth. Henry Ford, born in 1863, was an entrepreneur who began his business with the intention of breaking into what was at that time an exclusive, aggressive industry – that of automobiles. For the first time, his production lines provided ordinary people with the opportunity to purchase their own motor cars at affordable prices.

Return of the Model A
In 1903 the Ford Motor Company was in trouble. Only $250 stood between them and bankruptcy. Luckily the sale of three cars kept the company afloat and able to produce more vehicles further down the line. It is believed that one of those three cars – a 1903 Model A Rear Entry Tonneau – will be re-presented by the company at their 110th anniversary celebrations in 2013.
Originally discovered to still be in existence…

Jaguar Unveils M5 Rival

Sponsored BMW’s magnificent M5 has held the super saloon top spot since its inception in the mid-eighties, but last week at the Los Angeles Motor Show, Jaguar revealed its most powerful saloon ever; the XFR-S. With similar power and performance figures, it is a direct rival to the M5. Unfortunately, track tests haven’t yet been released, so it could be a while before anyone can firmly decide which the superior car is. Until then, all we can go on are the facts and statistics.

The XFR-S is essentially a beefed-up version of the XFR. It accelerates from 0-60mph in just 4.4 seconds, courtesy of its supercharged 5.0L V8. This is however, slightly slower than Jaguar’s own XKR-S and the M5. Many are speculating that the real-world speed will be more impressive than figures would suggest, so fans of Jaguar have at least something to be hopeful about. Top speed has been increased from the 155mph limit up to 186mph.

When it comes to handling, the M5 has always garnered a lot of praise for being…
