The German Lifestyle-Blogger whudat.de just posted the Pictures of a Shoe-Campaign for "Del Toro" (never heard about them..). Anyway, they've choosen a pretty nice background for their Spring/Summer campaign shooting - a late 1960s Chevrolet Corvette C2 Sting Ray.
Have fun watching the Pictures. What would you choose: the Vette, the Girls or the Shoes? ;)

From the moment the spotlight hits the new range - starting with the new Quattroporte, set to make its European debut at the Geneva Motorshow - Maserati also revamps those luxury sports models which provided the basis for the brand's growth.
In line with this philosophy, Geneva will see the world debut of the new four seater GranTurismo MC Stradale, the optimum expression of sportiness combined with the luxury of a coupé made in Modena. Although the new Quattroporte is the first Maserati to be built at the new Giovanni Agnelli plant in Grugliasco (Turin), the GranTurismo MC Stradale will in fact be built at the historic factory in viale Ciro Menotti in Modena.
Land Rover is the first manufacturer to use a Nine-speed automatic transmission, the 9HP by ZF. I mean, already? I've spotted a development mule in April 2012 ... damn mule drivers by the way! Read more about my Sight here: Spotted: ZF testing the 9HP Hybrid transmission.
Land Rover will demonstrate the world's first nine-speed automatic transmission for a passenger car at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The ZF 9HP transmission is designed for transverse applications, and is one of the most efficient and technically advanced transmissions ever used in a production vehicle. Land Rover is the lead partner with ZF on this project.
At the Geneva Motor Show Volkswagen will present another model, the new Golf 7 GTI. Besides the GTD and XL1.
For the first time the Golf 7 GTI will be available at two power levels: standard 220 PS or GTI Performance with 230 PS
It also offers 18 per cent improvement in fuel economy compared to the previous model

Probably the coolest Car at this years Seegefrörne, a REAL NYPD Chevrolet Caprice Classic. Imported from NY's Bronx.
Hope you enjoy the Gallery ;)
Indeed a great Car. And today McLaren just announced the Specs and the Price of their new : A 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine plus a highly effective electric motor create 916PS (903 bhp) and a maximum torque figure of 900Nm. The electronically limited Top speed is at 350 km/h (218 mph).
Indeed, the Golf 7 is longer and roomier. But the innovations for a REAL NEW model are missing. But it's a Golf. An affordable Car for every mankind.
By featuring the brilliant 1,0l Ecoboost engine there can't go anything wrong with this model!
Phew, Mini .. in my eyes the most-gay-vehicle on this Planet. But wait, a 4WD and 184 hp with the Cooper S ... this could really change my mind.
Kia is lately doing really a good job on designing aesthetic models. The 3-door Cee'd hatch is definitely one of them!
With the help of "My Key" parents will love the new Fiesta. Thanks to MyKey THEY can decide on how fast their Kid is able to drive, set the maximum loudness etc. etc.
The new Ranger Rover, a classic itself, hasn’t changed much to stay true on itself.
A sporty and small Frenchmen, what else? ;) You might be surprised how much sportiness they can pack into such a small vehicle.
Finally a Jaguar that compete to the legendary and vintage E-Type! Can't wait to see it on public Roads.
Also known as the Opel Mokka. Another Style-SUV that causes great delight in its buyer’s minds.
McLaren Automotive has released the final numbers, images and information relating to its phenomenal McLaren P1™ ahead of a global reveal in just a few days at the 83rd International Geneva Motor Show.
The race-inspired Instant Power Assist System (IPAS) gives the McLaren P1™ astonishing performance. Zero to 100km/h will take less than 3 seconds, zero to 200 km/h under 7 seconds, and zero to 300 km/h will be achieved in no more than 17 seconds. Putting that into perspective, that’s 5 seconds faster than the legendary McLaren F1 road car. Top speed is electronically limited to 350 km/h.
In exactly 7 Days the Doors of this Years Geneva Motor Show will open its Doors for the Press to unveil the newest models and Concept Cars. Of course I will be there, again.
Here you'll find ALL the Geneva Motor Show Premieres that have been announced until now. This Page will be updated as soon as new informations on new models and concepts reach me ;-)

The Mitsubishi Lancer saw the light of day in the lower middle class in 1973. Almost precisely 5.000 units were produced in 1992 for the car or motorsport designed Mitsubishi Lancer Evo(lution) I, also the first stage of development with 250 HP. Due to an extremely large number of rally successes in the meantime nine (!) further development stages have joined them. Thus, the Evo X, which will be discussed here, goes in the race, with 295 series-HP from displacement of two litres.
Before the presentation of the new „walking-out uniform“ of EVO X only a brief instruction to an increase in performance to wide-awake 390 HP (or 287 kW) and 520 Nm of maximum torque, undoubtedly „contributed“ through Turbo - back installed 3” exhaust system from Invidia, named Q300. The incredible power will be forwarded on the asphalt by means of Yamato-rims in 18 inch by Enkei, on which Michelin Pilot Sport Cup Semi-Slicks are installed.
Can you imagine yourself the luxury-loving Arabs driving "small Cars"?

Seegefrörne 2013 - Part 2
As already promissed you yesterday, here Part 2 of the Classic Car Rallye around the Lake of Constance - the Seegefrörne 2013.
Have you already seen the previous Post: At the Seegefrörne 2013 - Part 1? ;)
The Video (recommended!!) will be finished either this evening, or tomorrow! :)
Sunday, February 24, 2013
Yesterday I've attended my first classic car event of the Year, as a tradition now, the Seegefrörne 2013. A classic car rallye all around the Lake of Constance - Germany, Switzerland, Austria and back to Germany.
I went to the Castle in Brochenzell, near Meckenbeuren (Germany), to join the Motorsportsclub Scuderia Humpis for the tricky task they prepared for the drivers. Each Driver had to drive one round and the second round had to be exact 5 seconds longer. Not easy without any clocks or Smartphones ...
The kinda sad thing was, already as last year - the Cars arrived just too early. Actually the Cars, 30 in total, were planned to arrive at 3pm - the first were already there more than 1 hour ago. But why can this happen, if its a Rallye? Yeah, this happens when there are no secret time controls between the check-points and they can drive as fast as they want.... Due to this I've missed the first three Cars driving :/
Up from now every Day 1 Post with Pictures of the pretty Cars will go online ... and the Video as soon as I've cutted it. So, stay tuned! ;-)

Saturday morning, checking the Facebook notifications and messages, then checking what the others have been posting while I was sleeping and BOOM. There it was - a Picture Gallery of the all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited. Holy s**t!!
I mean, damn, is this a joke? After reading the comments on Facebook I noticed that I am, thankfully, not the only "iritated" one about the Design of the new Cherokee Limited. It will celebrate its debut at the New York International Auto Show.
Some of the comments are: "Cherokee/liberty like a corean's car? Why? Make a New model! It's too fantascientific... I'm shocked", "Looks like that front belongs on a Kia !!!! Stop it !!!", "Come on Jeep you can do better than this. It's an absolute disgrace to the Mopar family. Remember the Pontiac Aztec? Don't expect sales to be that great for this one." or "UGLY!!!!! LOOKS LIKE AN ANGRY ASIAN STARING AT U".
I've attached some more pictures down here, BUT, how do you think about this?

Toyota just announced the pricing and specifications of their new Auris Touring Sports.
This is the first time the Toyota Auris has been introduced to a wagon car body style. It’s also the first model in its class to offer the choice of a full hybrid powertrain, marking further diversification of Toyota’s Hybrid Synergy Drive technology.
Auris Touring Sports is built exclusively by Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK (TMUK) at its factory in Burnaston, Derbyshire, alongside the Auris hatchback and Avensis models.
I've already told you about the Debut of the most aerodynamic production car yesterday, today I want to tell you something about the production-steps of the Volkswagen XL1. (Finally I have a reason to look forward to the Geneva Motor Show!)
Manufacturing in OsnabrückThe XL1 is manufactured by Volkswagen Osnabrück GmbH. In the former Karmann plants there, around 1,800 employees produce such cars as the Golf Cabriolet and the new Porsche Boxster.
As is usual in the framework of mass produced vehicles like the Golf Cabriolet, many components − such as the monocoque, engine, motor, suspensions and battery − are supplied by other plants and external suppliers. However, in the small production series for the XL1, the specialists from Osnabrück are not pursuing the classic path of large-scale production, rather they are practicing automotive handcrafting. Nonetheless, the XL1 production processes implemented in Osnabrück are highly innovative and unique. There were no previous examples of the individual production steps anywhere in the world, because no other car has been produced so thoroughly in a similar composite material.
Over the long term, other Group brands will also benefit from the numerous innovations implemented in the XL1.
The production process for the new XL1 in detail:

Enzo Ferrari and Roberto Nosetto
Oh my, what sad news ...
While its Formula 1 team was busy testing the F138 on the third day of the second pre-season session in Barcelona, Ferrari is in mourning today for the loss of Roberto Nosetto, who was the Scuderia’s Sporting Director in the second half of the Seventies. He passed away this morning in Gallipoli, in the province of Lecce, where for the past few years, he was enjoying a well deserved retirement after a lifetime spent in the world of racing. After his time at Ferrari, Nosetto became the Director of the Imola circuit and then worked as the Race Director, first in the Motorcycle World Championship and then in World Superbikes.
“The death of Roberto Nosetto has saddened me deeply,” commented Team Principal Stefano Domenicali. “Apart from his name being irrevocably linked to the history of Scuderia Ferrari, for me personally, he was a very important person, because it was under his tenure at the Imola circuit that I began my career in motor sport, when as a student, I tried to find things to do in the paddock, learning as much as possible from him, from his experience and above all, from his gentle nature.”
After sayin' good-bye to the Audi R8 e-tron (not completely..) and the electric Audi A2 e-tron Audi will present a Hybrid version of the Audi A3, the Audi A3 e-tron at the Geneva Motor Show 2013 this March.
It will feature a plug-in hybrid with 150 kW (204 hp) and the fuel consumption for 100 km will be down at 1.5 liters (156.81 US mpg). It sprints from 0 to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 7.6 seconds on its way to a top speed of 222 km/h (137.94 mph). The CO2 emissions are at 35 grams per km (56.33 g/mile).
In electric mode, the Audi A3 e-tron reaches a top speed of 130 km/h (80.78 mph) and has a maximum range of 50 km (31.07 miles). It's a Hybrid and not an EV, so the Range is quite okay.
The most aerodynamic production car ever will launch at the Geneva Motor Show this March: the Volkswagen XL1.
The 3,888 mm long, 1,665 mm wide and just 1,153 mm tall two-seater will be powered through a plug-in hybrid system – consisting of a two-cylinder TDI engine (35 kW / 48 PS), E-motor (20 kW / 27 PS), 7-speed dual clutch gearbox (DSG) and lithium-ion battery – all make it possible for the new Volkswagen XL1 to emit just 21 g/km of CO2. If necessary, the XL1, with a top speed of 160 km/h, can accelerate to 100 km/h in just 12,7 seconds. Clearly, 0.9 l/100 km fuel consumption is a record figure that has not been achieved by any other vehicle to date, and it illustrates how Volkswagen is redefining what is technically feasible in carmaking.
YouTuber "domesticmango" uploaded this Video on YouTube and damn, what a masterpiece!
He describes it like this: "This is by far my biggest, best and most BADASS! video that I have ever made, it has taken me almost 2 weeks of editing, finding locations, getting audio, adding effects, recording, creating and GYMKHANA-ING to make this almighty GYMKHANA video dedicated to the awesomeness of Ken Block and GRAND THEFT AUTO,
Sporty long-distance Golf with 135 kW / 184 PS only consumes 4.2 litres of fuel per 100 km
Four-cylinder TDI engine of the Golf GTD complies with EU-6 emissions standard
Wolfsburg, 21 February 2013 - Extremely fuel efficient, but extremely sporty – it is these attributes that have excited fans of the Golf GTD over the past three decades. At this year’s Geneva International Motor Show, Volkswagen is presenting the latest version of this extreme athlete whose 135 kW / 184 PS TDI engine already complies with the challenging EU-6 emissions standard today.

Sometimes things can be so Coincidentally, completely unbelivable..
Exactly 20 Years ago, on February 20th 1993 a little Girl with blonde hair and blue eyes was born in the south of Germany. 58 cm tall and healthy. A regular Baby. On the same Day, Ferruccio Elio Arturo Lamborghini passed away at Silvestrini Hospital in Perugia, Italy, after suffering a heart attack from fifteen days earlier.
The Context between this former little Girl, me, and Ferruccio Lamborghini? I mean, isn't it too random that one automotive-soul passes away and another one is born? On the same Day? I normally don't belive in such "divination"-things, but hey, everything is possible...
I am now writing you, aged 20, trying to share my "Automotive Life" with you, here on the Blog. Ferruccio never had enough and always wanted the best, that's why he started making those Mean Bulls on Wheels.

Wuhu, Spyker is back! The Spyker B6 concept car will make its debut on 5 March at the 2013 Geneva International Motor Show. Stay tuned for more details.
Rolls-Royce published another Teaser of their new Baby-Royce, the Wraith, early this morning. This time it's all about STYLE.
The contemporary version of the Wraith in the decor is reminiscent of a luxury yacht. Every little detail in the interior has been chosen with great care and executed with equal devotion.
The clock, for example, offers pointers peaks in blood orange, they point to the dynamic potential of the Wraith. At the same time they are a tribute to the aviation history of the brand.
Like any Rolls-Royce and the Wraith is built by hand. The skills of the craftsmen's "home of Rolls-Royce" in Goodwood are consistently called upon even the most delicate stitching and wood processing. The latest model of the super-luxury manufacturer presents a luxurious and contemporary interior, and thus emphasizes the dynamic look of the Wraith. Luxury and craftsmanship at its best, thanks to the softest leather - well known in the Phantom - and the new wood paneling surface Canadel.
Here you find the first Wraith-Teaser and the second Wraith-Teaser.
Would you have known?
Ferrari is the most powerful brand of the world!
And not simply in the opinion of millions of Prancing Horse enthusiasts all over the world or, indeed, the clients that continue to buy the cars built at Maranello year after year, but according to the annual list compiled by leading brand valuation experts, Brand Finance.
Ferrari took the number one spot of the top five most powerful brands in 2013 ahead of the likes of Google, Coca-Cola, PwC and Hermes on a list that includes the 500 most famous companies in the world. Because of its size, the Maranello company cannot compete with the large multinational brands in terms of overall revenues. However, its brand rating takes into account other financial metrics, such as net margins, average revenue per customer, and advertising and marketing spend, as well as qualitative parameters, such as brand affection and loyalty.
“It is always a pleasure to top any list and still more so when the competition includes some of the world’s most famous companies. This achievement proves that even in very tough economic times, Italy can still offer the world businesses of excellence,” commented Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo. “Behind this acknowledgement are exceptional products made by equally exceptional men and women. They made it possible and for that I thank them.”

BMW just launched their new Campaign with the Title "Designed for driving pleasure". It will run for several weeks, starting in Germany in mid-February, including print, TV, online, social media and out-of-home advertising. Besides the BMW Concept 4 Series Coupé, a further focus is the new BMW Z4, which will be launched across Germany at BMW partners on 16 March.
In Germany, the campaign will also be presented online and through social media channels. Online banner ads and animations will develop the idea of the print campaign and TV spot, and also work with the effect of a dynamic moving car. A central landing page on www.bmw.de features information on the vehicles shown, as well as background on the TV commercial and a prize game. Visitors to BMW Germany’s Facebook page can also win a new BMW Z4 for a three-month period. In parallel, the campaign will also be presented in more detail through the brand’s YouTube channel and BMW’s own www.bmw-tv.de channel with a special on the subject of design.
In Automobili Lamborghini’s 50th Anniversary year, its fashion collection perfectly interprets the spirit of the brand summed up by the motto: “A hundred years of innovation in half the time”.
The must havesThe real innovation this season is the Automobili Lamborghini branded women’s and men’s footwear.
When driving a Lamborghini super sports car, the journey is not just a transfer from point A to B, but rather an experience in itself, to be savored in every detail. Now, even the point of contact between the driver and the vehicle is Lamborghini branded. The range of sneakers are made of leather and fabric.
Like all Collezione Automobili Lamborghini products, this footwear is distinguished by its clean lines, attention to detail, comfort, and the extremely high-quality materials used.

The German Social Mobility Network flinc ( www.flinc.org ) has just released an Android update. Many new features have been incorporated into the app, including the "instantnavi", the self-developed real-time navigation for mobile devices, and the integration of the average response time. So Android users finally have the lead:
The iOS users still have to wait for the two new available features.
If the three letters AMG appear in the model designation of a Mercedes-Benz, then it is assured that a powerful and assembled by hand engine from the contemplative Swabian Affalterbach ensures unbridled propulsion.
The basic requirement for any movement is, as generally known, power. And when existing power has to be "corrected upwards" once again, the company mcchip-dkr from Mechernich-Obergartzem is undoubtedly a first choice. The creative team around Danny KUBASIK has always presented a solution, independently from the respective problem.

As you've already seen if you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, I went to Zurich yesterday and also had the chance to test drive a Tesla Roadster Sport.
Thanks to Tesla Zurich for the opportunity!
My first real Contact with the Roadster was during "the electric avenue" in Friedrichshafen in 2011, as a passenger we've driven a round with this white beauty (you can find the Video HERE). Since then I've driven a lot other Elekctric Cars, and now, finally, I found myself behind the wheel of one, yay!
Of course I'm just showing you this Video because of the nice DeLorean at the beginning ... ;-)

Nowadays, thanks to Social Media Channels like Facebook and Twitter it was never easier to make Companys know about your Complaints, and even start a "Shit Storm".
Most of the Time the accused Companys have apologized and admitted their mistake.
But this is not just working for Customers and Companies, also for Company Owners and Newspapers. Like it happened yesterday - Elon Musk and the New York Times.
Tesla (and PayPal, SpaceX and Solarworld) Founder Elon Musk must have been shocked after reading what the dear Journalist JOHN M. BRODER wrote on February 8th about his Test Drive with a Tesla Model S. (Read the NY Times Article here.)
”NYTimes article about Tesla range in cold is fake,” Elon Tweeted.
Then I’ve discovered Tom, Tom Leykis (American talk radio personality best known for hosting The Tom Leykis Show from 1994 to 2009 (nationally syndicated), and April 2012 to the present (internet streamcast/podcast)), a Tesla Model S Owner, via Twitter, commenting on Elon Musk Announcement to Blog about how the NYTimes Test Drive really happened. He said he drives the Model S on a Daily Basis. I think his Opinion counts a thousand times more, read what he says!
The McLaren P1™ has a clear goal: to be the best driver’s car in the world on road and track. In order to achieve this, performance and handling are key, but to extract the best from the aerodynamic bodyshape and the groundbreaking technology beneath the carbon fibre exterior, the driver has to feel comfortable and in control. For this reason, the cabin of the McLaren P1™ is fully focused on the driver, and is clear from clutter and distraction as these first images show.
The interior of the McLaren P1™ offers the driver and passenger a cocooning, efficiently packaged, comfortable cabin. The interior feels like the cockpit of a fighter jet, complete with glass canopy overhead and, with a windscreen deeper than it is wide, visibility is optimised. This makes the car all the easier to plant on road and track.
As a successor of the 8C Alfa Romeos new 4C will debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month. The mid-engined rear-wheel drive coupé with two bucket seats represents the true essence of a sports car at the heart of Alfa Romeo's DNA: performance, Italian style and technical excellence, offering maximum driving satisfaction in total safety.
Designed by Alfa Romeo engineers and produced in the Maserati plant in Modena, the new compact supercar will be available for purchase in 2013, marking the return of the Italian brand to the United States and inaugurating Alfa Romeo's global growth plan.
The Alfa Romeo 4C derives directly from the concept which raised many eyebrows in wonder at the Geneva Show in 2011, so much so that it won three prestigious awards: the ‘AutoBild Design Award' (2011, Germany), the ‘Design Award for Concept Cars & Prototypes' (2012, Italy) and the ‘Most Exciting Car of 2013' - ‘What Car?' (2013, Great Britain).
As a Golf MK3 Convertible Driver, I should scream "YAI!". Finally a new Golf Convertible. Finally available as a more sporty R version. But wait. The Price?
Huh, the Price. Sexy 43,325 Euros for a Car without a proper top? But a R-Badge. At least!
Available from Spring this Year the, for THIS price already built-in, 2.0 litre turbo TSI will produce up to 195 kW / 265 PS, limited at 250 km/h / 155 mph.
I mean, for a sprint from 0-100 km/h / 0-60 mph it takes 6.4 seconds, and it's already incluuuuded in the Prize! *Imagine now the Theatrical movement of a Face-lifted Teleshopping PRO Seller*
Just to mention what's also included, up from the Factory (!):

All over the World People know that the Brits have a certain kind of Humor that not everybody understands. But when it's about Parodies - and Cars - the whole World understands it, definitely!
And so I don't want to withheld you the nice Parody of "What makes you Beautiful" by One Direction - "Driving in my MX-5". Indeed some great Work by the Guys of CarThrottle.com.
Enjoy the Video! ;-)
As a huuge Model Car-Lover I must admit, that not every Brand's Testimonial is/was a good choice.
Just like here: German Soccer-Player Marco Reuss, Hot Wheel's Testimonial for the 1:64 scale Model Cars was able to design his very own Car. The "MR11" (MR stands for his name and the 11 stands for this player number at Borussia Dortmund) he designed at the annual "Spielwarenmesse" (Fair for Toys) in Nuremberg, Germany, will even hit the Shops this Fall.

It's time to get serious!
There's just about one month over for my personal favorite Motor Show of the Year (IAA follows on 2), the Geneva Motor Show. Since Years I'm travelling every Spring to the South of Switzerland to see what the international automotive manufacturers have to offer. To be impressed by their Designs and Thoughts. But you know what? I can't name ANY Premiere of this Year as my "favorite" or the one I can't wait for.
It's not that I don't like Cars anymore (What, no, that's never possible. NEVER I said!), but a certain attraction is really missing. Don't you agree that everything is completely replacable? I mean, One invents something, the others copy it or make it better and in the end everyone has the same. And does the same. As I just read this Week by Automotive Designer J. Mays, "Design is similar all over the world more and more. Also, thanks to social media."

Cars on display at the Louis Vuitton Classic Awards
Louis Vuitton is just focused on equipping people with high quality travel paraphernalia? No, not exactly. Besides that Louis Vuitton once made trunks for the very first of the very fist motorcars decades ago the glamorous Company still exists in the Automotive World. As Part of the Retro Mobile in Paris (from February 6th to 10th) Louis Vuitton was giving away a Concours prize, the Louis Vuitton Classic Car Award.
